A shared vision

The placement of the final roof beam marks a concrete and symbolic milestone in the construction of Unipol Hall. A flexible, sustainable and international venue that will host Casa Virtus and allow us to attract new events, creating opportunities for economic, cultural and social development for Bologna and the wider region.

With the new Unipol Hall, Bologna gains a major new venue for sport, music and events: another step forward in the transformation of the district stretching from the exhibition centre to the Tecnopolo. This is a major urban regeneration project that relaunches the international profile of our exhibition platform.

Designing a space to host different functions means making the most of what already exists for a wide range of activities, applying the principle of intensity of use of the built environment, which in turn translates into environmental sustainability. The relationship between the exhibition centre and the city’s residents has been reimagined, offering a wider range of occasions to experience the space.
